KALIEGH DUFOE

Kaleigh Dufoe, a Lincoln native and the oldest of four, graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School before attending the University of Nebraska. After two years, she realized that college wasn’t the right path for her. She then began her career in banking, working at a local credit union for three years, where she met Michael Cooper and was introduced to his small, but growing insurance company. After transitioning into the mortgage industry for a year, Michael reached out to Kaleigh and let her know that there would always be an opportunity for her at Omega Insurance Group should she be looking to transition into the insurance industry. Just three weeks later, Kaleigh joined the team at Omega Insurance Group.

Kaleigh met her husband, Colin, in 2016 when she transferred to Southeast High School to begin her junior year. They began dating on January 1, 2017 and in May 2020, they purchased their first home together, where they live with their dog, Larz, and cats, Ledger and Lady. After 4 and a half years of dating, Colin proposed in September of 2021, and they had their dream wedding a year later, in September of 2022. Following two years of home renovations and celebrating the weddings of friends, they received life-changing news in 2024: they were expecting their first child. Their beautiful baby daughter, Elouise, arrived three months early in December 2024, weighing just 2 lbs 1.7 oz. Her 63-day stay in the NICU taught Kaleigh and Colin the true meaning of patience and resilience.

Kaleigh and Colin are both avid outdoor enthusiasts and cherish their daily walks as a family. When they’re not outside, Kaleigh enjoys reading, although these days, their daughter takes up most of their free time!
